New Light Baptist Church Announces Pastor-Elect
Rev. Antonio Robinson
With gratitude to God and excitement for the future, New Light Baptist Church is pleased to announce the selection of Rev. Antonio Robinson as our Pastor-Elect.
Following a prayerful and thorough pastoral search process that included congregational input, candidate evaluations, interviews, preaching engagements, Bible study leadership, and reference and background reviews, the congregation of New Light Baptist Church voted to extend the call to Rev. Robinson to serve as our next pastor.
Rev. Robinson brings a deep commitment to biblical preaching, spiritual formation, servant leadership, and community engagement. Throughout the search process, he demonstrated a heart for God’s people and a vision that aligns with the mission and ministry of New Light Baptist Church.
We thank the members of the Pastoral Selection Committee, church leadership, and congregation for their faithful participation and prayers throughout this journey. As we enter this new season of ministry, we ask that you join us in welcoming Pastor-Elect Robinson and continue praying for him, his family, and our church as together we seek God’s guidance for the future.
As New Light Baptist Church moves into 2026 under the theme, “Springing Forth: Embracing God’s New Season,” we embrace God’s promise:

THE CHURCH MISSION
New Light Baptist Church, “The Light on the Hill,” seeks to be a catalyst for positive transformation in the lives of all people by allowing God’s light to shine through us everywhere we go. We seek to be a “church on assignment,” following the example of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by practicing: Radical Hospitality, Passionate Worship, Intentional Faith Development, Risk-Taking Mission, Service, and Extravagant Generosity.

Our Sunday School’s basic purpose is spiritual growth anddevelopment. The Bible guides our daily lives and Sunday School provides an opportunity to learn what God’s will is for our lives and to help us grow in our understanding of the principles of God’s Word.
